Hi@Packhoss, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

This is a wonderful location to converse with the community, get assistance and find tips! I understand that HP Chromebook screen keeps flickering.

I'll certainly try to assist you with the issue! To assist you better, I need the complete product details. If unsure, please check: https://support.hp.com/in-en/document/c03754824  (Ensure you do not share any of your personal information such as serial, phone number, email ID, etc...).

Have you recently made any changes on the PC before the issue started?

Alternatively, please perform a hard reset of the Chromebook. Sometimes, this will remove these lines since you are resetting the hardware.

A hard reboot can resolve many Chromebook startup issues. Follow these steps to perform a hard reboot:

  1. Turn off the computer.

  2. Disconnect all peripheral devices and remove all USB devices and media cards.

  3. Disconnect the AC power adapter. If the Chromebook features a removable battery, remove the battery.

  4. Press and hold the power button for at least 7 seconds.

  5. Reconnect the AC power adapter.

If you removed the battery, do not reconnect it at this time.

  6. Turn on the computer.

Keep me posted. Happy to help!

Please click “Accept as Solution” if you feel my post solved your issue, it will help others find the solution.
