computer spasm

Product Name: hp envy
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

So I'm having issues with what I guess would be the touchpad? When I'm on my computer random windows start popping up and closing out. I recently tried to troublshoot this question thinking it was my wireless mouse. So since then I have removed my mouse, but the problem still persists. Not sure if its the touchpad having issues or if its my software. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Re: computer spasm

Hi,

Welcome to HP Support Forum. What is your Envy ? Please use the following instructions to find out the model/product of your machine:

  http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c00033108

Please try to download and install the following Synaptics TouchPad Driver first:

Regards.

Re: computer spasm

Hi,

Please download and install the driver mentioned above. I think your machine is the same as the following one

Re: computer spasm

I downloaded the driver as I was told too and not sure what to do now? The problem is still occuring and now is to the point its making it difficult for me to even use my computer at all.
