Since the OP did not come back to answer and because I'm very interested by this feature request I allow myself to add my information and questions.
Firstly, that's not a bug but a restriction due to a missing option in HP ZBook Power G8 BIOS.
Since GPU option in BIOS are only either "Integrated GPU only" or "Hybrid GPUs" there is no way to have any of the discrete GPU option when OS is running, so no NVidia Surround or any NVidia display enhancement.
In the past HP released BIOS for older model to allow this option to be selected in the BIOS (Discrete GPU mode).
The question is, when will HP will release such a BIOS for the ZBook Power G8 ?
And/or where this request should be done officially ? (because we are here on a community forum and it's surely not the right place) @Ub6424 if you can help us
