Microsoft Windows 11

Hello!  I own the  HP Pavilion15-cs3003ca, and I am having trouble connecting it to my docking station for multiple-screen display (the docking station is a Lenovo and has USB-C input)  I tried the USB-c port on the HP and it does not work.

What port should I use for the output of my HP? (HDMI?  Or one of the USB A ports? Something else?)

I have been trying to figure this out for a while now and I am very confused.  If anyone as any insight on how to connect this computer to a second/third display I would be forever thankful....  thank you!!

The specs of your machine is

            https://support.hp.com/rs-en/document/c06450012

It ONLY has 1 USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-C™ (Data Transfer Only, 5 Gb/s signaling rate) port which does NOT support Alt mode nor Power Delivery. You can NOT use it to

  • Charge your machine,
  • Connect to an external monitor with/without hub/dock/adapter

If you wish to connect 2 external monitors (only), you can use

  • Monitor 1: HDMI direct cable,
  • Monitor 2: Using a Displaylink Certified USB-A to HDMI adapter such as

                                     USB to HDMI Adapter

For more connectivity, please use

                         True Universal Docking Stations

Regards.

Thank you Banhein!  Darn, I was hoping that I just hook it up to a docking station.  I guess that's not possible with this computer.  Thanks for the advice!
