HP Chromebook x360 14a-ca0000 (2V972AV)

Hi, my computer has been glitching very often, turning off unexpectedly and not allowing me to turn in back on. It also often freezes and doesn't allow me to turn it off and is unresponsive to any of the actions I try to take to make it unfreeze. I also have a warranty that is associated with this device because I bought it July 20, 2023, however, when I enter my SN to check it, it says my warranty expired September 12, 2022, a year before I even purchased it. So now I'm unsure of what to do because I want to exchange it, however, the warranty falsely claims that it has expired.

No -- the warranty is correct -- because the start date is set when the PC is BUILT, not when it is SOLD.  So, if it sits in a warehouse for 9 months, it will expire 3 months later.

You have to Register it in order to reset the warranty end date: https://register.hp.com/americas/flowPage/registration/index.do?execution=e1s1&cc=US&lang=en

This is NOT something we can do for you.
