HI
I have a new HP laptop and bought the HP USB-C Dock G5-11 in 1 Adapter to connect two monitors.
The monitors have hdmi and vga and the thunderbolt has display ports.
What do i need to purchase to connect the hdmi monitors to the thunderbolt?

Hi:
You need a display port to HDMI cable. Something like this:

Thanks
Here is what i noticed when i reviewed the item
- COMPATIBILITY: Transmits audio and video from DisplayPort enabled computer to HDMI display; NOT compatible with a USB port; does NOT work with Thunderbolt Dock; does NOT support LVDS signal sources such as audio/video players

You're very welcome.
Then you will have to find a cable that looks like that which does.
Although, this is the only information I see regarding the compatibility:
- CONNECTIVITY: Unidirectional passive cable, connects DisplayPort-enabled computer to an HDMI display. Supports Dual-Mode DisplayPort (DP++). Does not support LVDS signal sources such as audio/video players; NOT compatible with a USB port
This one for example indicates 'universal compatibility:'
- [Universal Compatibility, Limitless Possibilities] This DP to HDMI cable seamlessly connects desktop PCs, laptops, GPUs (AMD, NVIDIA), and any other device equipped with a DisplayPort to TVs, projectors, monitors, VR headsets, and more. *Note: Keep in mind that it is a ONE-WAY cable, specifically designed to convert from DisplayPort sources to HDMI displays.
