Hi @vinayak079,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

Sorry for the inconvenience caused don’t worry let me help you.

To better understand the issue, could you please provide a few more details?

  • Does the photo always appear flipped (mirrored) when you capture it, or only in certain apps?
  • Are you using the built‑in Camera app, or another application like Zoom, Teams, or Skype?
  • Does the preview look correct before you take the photo, or is it flipped right from the start?

Here are a few troubleshooting steps you can try:

  • Check Camera App Settings: Open the Windows Camera app → click the gear icon (Settings) → look for options like “Mirror my photo” or “Flip.” Sometimes these settings can cause the image to appear reversed.
  • Test in Different Apps: Try capturing an image in another app (like Paint or Word via “Insert → Camera”) to see if the issue is app‑specific.
  • Update Camera Drivers: Go to Device Manager → expand “Cameras” → right‑click your camera → select “Update driver.” This ensures you’re running the latest driver.
  • Windows Update: Make sure your system is fully updated, as updates often include fixes for camera behavior.
  • Reset Camera App: Settings → Apps → Installed apps → Camera → Advanced options → Reset. This can clear any misconfigured settings.

I hope this helps.
