@ashikasoni5404, Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

If some keys on your HP Laptop PC 15s-du3000 keyboard are not working, here's how you can troubleshoot and possibly fix the issue:

Basic Checks

  • Restart your laptop — simple but sometimes effective.
  • Check for debris — use compressed air to gently clean under the keys.
  • Test in BIOS:
  1. Restart the laptop and press Esc repeatedly, then press F10 to enter BIOS.
  2. Try using the non-working keys in the BIOS (like arrow keys or typing in BIOS diagnostics if available).
  3. If they work in BIOS, it's a software/driver issue.
  4. If they don’t work, it’s likely a hardware issue.

Update or Reinstall the Keyboard Driver

  • Press Win + X > Device Manager > expand Keyboards.
  • Right-click Standard PS/2 Keyboard > Update driver.
  • If that doesn't help, uninstall the keyboard device, then restart your PC to auto-reinstall it.

Run HP Diagnostics

  • Go to HP PC Hardware Diagnostics for Windows and run the keyboard test.
  • Or press Esc during boot > F2 > Component Tests > Keyboard.

Test with an External Keyboard

  • Plug in a USB keyboard or connect a Bluetooth keyboard.
  • If all keys work there, it's further confirmation of a hardware issue with your laptop keyboard.

Perform a System Restore or Windows Update

  • If the issue started recently, perform a System Restore to a date when the keyboard worked.
  • Also ensure Windows is fully updated: Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update.

If none of the above works and the keys are still non-responsive even in BIOS, the keyboard hardware may be faulty. You will have to visit the nearest HP authorized service center, the service team will check and assist you.
Kindly follow this link to locate the nearest HP service center: HP® Service Center Locator - India | HP® Support
(Select the country from the dropdown menu and enter the city name or pincode)

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
