Pavillion x360
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I installed the latest windows 10 update and since then, whenever i use my laptops touch screen to write on (in tablet mode or upright as desktop) the screen powers off- but not completely.  It turns a dark blue, like it is still sort of working, not the screen colour of when the laptop is fully off.

If any music is playing at the time, this continues to play.

It does not respond to anything.  I have to do a hard turn off (hold power button for 10secs).

if i just press the power button, the screen turns off but the little light next to the power button flashes until i hold it again.

Any idea of what is wrong or how to fix it?
