My HP Envy 360-m6 laptop has 1 HDMI port but no VGA.  I have one VGA monitor and another HP monitor (Hdmi). I'm seeking alternative to the $100 + price of HP brand docking stations.  I tried a  USB-C  (small size usb connector) hub off Amazon but the VGA port nor the Hdmi ports did not communicate with HP laptop but it did with my friends Dell laptop. There seems to be a compatibility issue with HP.  Just trying to see if there is an aftermarket brand that is compatible.  Or if there are any other options to be able to use 3 screens with this laptop (2 external monitors with the 3rd one being my laptop) .
