- I purchased HP pavilion 15 notebook pc 15-e015tx. It came with amd mobility radeon 8670m 1 gb graphics card. yesterday I downgraded windows 8 to windows 7 pro 64 bit. I installed driver from old windows 8 driver back up (c:). all drivers worked including intel hd 4000. I didn't faced any problem during amd catalyst installation. but after that no configure switchable graphics is there in desktop context menu. and in device manager no amd hardware detected.
- what should I do to fix this.? how can I know whether amd graphics card is used instead of Intel during games. can i permanently set amd as default ?

Hi, @kalai7 :
You can also install both the actual W7 AMD and Intel graphics drivers below, and see if that works better than my original writeup because these drivers came out afterward...
Restart the PC after each installation...
This package provides the driver that enables the IntelHigh-Definition (HD) Graphics in supported notebook models that are running a supported operating system. If high-definition multimedia interface (HDMI) video output is supported, this package also installs the HDMI Audio Driver.
This package provides the AMD High-Definition (HD) Graphics Driverand Catalyst Control Center for supported notebook models that are running a supported operating system. For notebooks with switchable graphics modes, this package includes drivers for both graphics processing units (GPUs). Switchable graphics enable users to switch between a power-saving graphics mode (normally used under batterypower) and a high-performance graphics mode.
You cannot set the AMD graphics adapter as the default because your notebook has dynamic switchable graphics.
Only older notebooks with BIOS' that support fixed switchable graphics have that option.
Please read this overview of switchable graphics...
