Hi @atmajyotibiswas,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
Screen bleeding, also known as backlight bleeding, is a common problem that can occur on laptops, especially on models with an LED backlight. This issue occurs when the light from the backlight of the display seeps through the edges of the screen, resulting in uneven and inconsistent brightness across the screen.
Here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot and potentially fix this issue on your HP laptop.
- Adjust the brightness: In some cases, adjusting the brightness of your screen can reduce or eliminate the screen bleeding. Try adjusting the brightness to see if it helps.
- Change the angle of the screen: Sometimes, the angle of the screen can affect the appearance of screen bleeding. Try adjusting the angle of the screen to see if it helps.
- Check for updates: Make sure that your laptop's display drivers and operating system are up-to-date. An outdated driver or software can cause screen bleeding issues.
- Check for physical damage: Inspect your laptop's screen for any physical damage or cracks. If the screen is physically damaged, it may need to be replaced.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
