i have replaced the screen on laptop and made sure all the connections were secure and updated bios. no drivers are needed and I have ran diagnostic and nothing shows up. another step I did was plugging up laptop to a monitor thru hdmi and the screen is perfect. so does this mean its a defect with screen not hardware or will It still show clear on 2nd display even if it is the motherboard or something other than the screen?

I appreciate your efforts to try and resolve the issue. As you've confirmed that the computer is working fine when connected to an external monitor that means the windows operating system is functioning normally, therefore, the screen needs to replaced again.
