Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

Black horizontal lines appeared on my screen a week back and they are going on increasing day by day. tried updating all my drivers checked in bios version and i am helpless.

 

Can anyone provide me a solution, if i need to replace the screen how much it costs appx.

Thank you for posting on the HP Support Community.

  • When was the last time it worked without these issues?
  • Have you updated Graphics and Chipset drivers?
  • Have you checked the display on an external monitor?

let’s try these steps to resolve the problem:

I recommend you attempt to access the BIOS screen by tapping on F10 while the computer is restarting, 

If the issue persists in the BIOS screen which is outside windows, it would confirm a hardware failure.

@echo_lake thanks for the response. i tried using the bios screen and could see the black lines in bios screen. I have even updated the drivers but i am helpless. Could you please suggest me a solution to overcome this issue.
