tablet mode/touch screen unresponsive

hp stream laptop 11-ak0012dx
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

so i bought this laptop back in august and for some reason when i switch over to tablet mode the touch screen does not work at all. the touch keyboard appears on the task bar but nothing on the touch screen works at all. never did work either. i was wondering if i needed some kind of update or if this feature just doesnt work with my laptop

I reviewed your post and I understand that the touchscreen is not working on the computer when you switch to tablet mode.

 

Don’t worry, I assure you I will try my best to get this sorted.

 

I checked the specifications of your computer and see that the computer that you have is not a touchscreen computer and that is the reason why you get the keyboard on the screen.

 

You need to have a touchscreen display on the computer for the touchscreen to work.
