touchpad doesn't work HP Notebook - 15-bs743tx

Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Bought this HP Notebook - 15-bs743tx notebook 2years ago. After some months of using the right sides USB port doesn't work,

somedays later touchpad started bothering me then some days later it hardly even work.

tried several versions of the touchpad driver from the official website but it doesn't work.

then I decided to try rolling back bios when it didn't work tried several versions of bios still doesn't work

I even tried installing different versions of Windows 10 works somedays then stops working forever

iv tried using Linux surprisingly it always works on Linux

probably this would be my first and last HP device

I'm not gonna buy any of HPs products ever

and would suggest people not to buy

Don't worry as I'll be glad to help,
I understand that your HP notebook is not working correctly and you are unable to install Windows OS.  I have a few troubleshooting steps we could try to fix the issue:  

  • Firstly, remove the hard drive from the computer.
  • Once the hard drive is removed turn on the computer without the hard drive- While booting as the computer doesn’t detect a hard drive so it’ll automatically roll back to the previous bios.
  • Put the HDD back in and turn it ON. It might give an error about the improper shutdown. Just click continue and it should boot to windows.

The HP Cloud Recovery Tool allows you to download recovery software to a USB drive. You can use the downloaded recovery image file in order to install the Windows operating system.
