My touchpad keeps jumping randomly, despite updating the driver to:
- Synaptics TouchPad Driver
- Version: 19.5.35.54 Rev.A
I attempted to temporarily disable the touchpad, but there was no such things under touchpad settings . Subsequently, following instructions from a random forum post, I updated the driver to "Synaptic Pointing Devices Version 19.3.4.58". This enabled the toggle button in touchpad settings, yet the problem of erratic behavior still remains. For now, I have temporarily turned off the touchpad.
