HP ENVY Notebook - 15-ae100nl

I have  a

HP ENVY Notebook - 15-ae100nl (ENERGY STAR)


Since 2-3 days when I turn it on after sleep mode the touchpad remains blocked: the cursor does not move and the left click is always on. (it will open any app the cursor remained stucked on). The only way that it recovers is shuting down  and turnning it on again.

Hi! @borys1! Thanks for stopping by the HP Support Forums!


I understand touchpad does function after the laptop wakes from sleep.


It could be a problem with the touchpad driver.


Please update BIOS and Synaptics touchpad drivers from the links below.  


BIOS update link: http://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp76501-77000/sp76913.exe

Synaptics Driver link: http://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp74001-74500/sp74369.exe
