Hello all, My zbook 15 g3 overheats near to the screen. I just use vscode and brave. what is the reason for that and what should i do?

Hello @Abu_Khiliwa 

 

In your case: Service is required !
- The computer should be disassembled and checked.
Thermal paste for CPU GPU and bridges should be renewed
- The function of the fan(s) must be checked

Short circuit test

- General cleaning ...

 

If you can't do that, you should have it serviced by a professional notebook (chip level) repair store.

Just went thru g8 and was amazed to see the bad thermal pad usage (instead of covering entire chips they were just half the size of chips and misaligned to great degree) also the thermal paste was too little to be true. (Aligned the pads and added new thermal paste)
