Hi:

Bluetooth is a function of the Wi-Fi adapter (if the Wi-Fi adapter is a combination Wi-Fi/Bluetooth adapter).

What model Wi-Fi adapter does your notebook come with?

Ralink RT3290 802.11 bgn

Hi:

The Ralink RT3290 Bluetooth adapter does not work on the latest builds of W10.

It completely disappears from the device manager and no fix is available.

If the device needed a driver there would be a device listed in the device manager that needed a driver.

This is the W10 Bluetooth driver if you see the Ralink Bluetooth needing a driver.

MediaTek (Ralink) Bluetooth Software Driver

11.0.761.0

So, if you don't see any Ralink Bluetooth device in the device manager, your options would be to:

Purchase a USB Bluetooth adapter

Upgrade the Ralink Wi-Fi card to this model which is dual band AC with Bluetooth, and works on all versions of W10/W11:

Broadcom BCM4352 802.11ac 2x2 Wi-Fi + Bluetooth 4.0 combo    HP part # 724935-001

Below is the link to the service manual where you can find the Wi-Fi card removal and replacement procedure:

I'm thinking of just rearranging Windows, installing 8 or even 7. The laptop was sold from 8, but I read the Internet and they write that there are problems with Realtek on 8. So I'll go back to 7. Is it a good solution?

HP Recommended

I suppose that is up to you if things work fine for you on W7.

I would be replacing the internal card, because it is not too difficult and pretty inexpensive to do so.

I got this laptop with Windows 10, how it worked on 8 and how it will work on 7, I do not know. I've been struggling with him for a week because his USB ports don't work either. Buying an internal card is not just expensive for me, but very expensive, I am from Russia...

W10 includes the USB drivers automatically, so there are no drivers to download.

For Windows 7, there would be drivers for the USB if it is a driver issue.

I have a problem with USB ports, not with drivers, but with hardware, code 43
