Product: HP Slim
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)
I purchased a new laptop on Friday and this problem presented itself over the weekend - every so often, it will not connect to wifi - it no longer shows any available networks to connect to (at first I thought this was an issue with our router which does periodically conk out and reset itself, but it isn't). If I restart my laptop the problem rights itself for a few hours. I tried downloading new realtek drivers yesterday which seemed to do the trick, but it has already happened once today, and as I am remote desktop working at the moment, it royally fudged that up too.
Unfortunately I do not have a screengrab of the troubleshooting response - the issue seems to be with driver rtl8821ce though.
Any help gratefully received, I don't want to try and return it during the current climate if I can sort it out myself!

Welcome to the HP Support Community.
Please help us with the product number.
Let's try these steps:
· Since you've already reinstalled drivers, I would recommend using an Ethernet cable (Wired) and update your Wi-Fi drivers using this link
· Update the bios by visiting this link or through support assistant using an Ethernet cable.
· Now try to connect to the internet wireless.
The best way to resolve the issue is by using the HP Guided Troubleshooter:
Click here to access it (simply select your description of the issue from the bottom of the screen to gain access to the next set of steps that should resolve your concern).
Let me know if this helps.
If the information I've provided was helpful, give us some reinforcement by clicking the "Accept as solution" button, that'll help us and others see that we've got the answers!
Have a great day!
