I don't know how hard it is to take your PC apart, but if your notebook has two wifi antennas connected to the Realtek card in there now, you should be able to upgrade to this model card...


If it only has one antenna, you should be able to upgrade to this model card...


Realtek RTL8821CE 802.11 ac 1x1 WiFi + Bluetooth 4.2 Combo Adapter (MU-MIMO supported) HP part # L17365-005.


You can buy one new from the HP parts store...$16.50


Below is the link to the service guide for your PC.  There is no wifi card removal and replacement procedure but it will show you how to get inside the PC.


This is the procedure for how to remove and replace a typical M.2 wifi card.  The video is for a notebook PC, but yours would have the same type card and antenna.  I don't know if there is a plastic cover over the wifi card.


Otherwise you can purchase an external USB dual band wifi adapter.
