5GHz wifi is very slow

HP Recommended
HP 17-x137cl
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi. We bought this laptop yesterday and found that 5GHz wifi is very slow. The setup:

Laptop

Linsys WRT1900AC

LG Nexus 5X

On 2.4GHz everything works according to the Internet subscription - 30mbps/5mbps (down/up).

On 5GHz, the phone still works accordind to the subscription,  but the laptop was about 4/3. We reloaded it and got 22/5 on 5GHz, but 2.4GHz is still 30/5. We tried many times and different spots but 2.4GHz always worked better than 5GHz.

The wifi status shows "Speed: 433 Mbps" and 4 bars in "Signal quality". Nexus 5X shows 866mbps and "excellent" on the very same spot.

Hi,

433 is half of 866 isn't it ? Well, pfrom the following specs, your machine has  1x1 802.11ac WLAN and Bluetooth® card. 1x1 has one dedicated transmitting antenna and one dedicated receiving antenna.

You need a 2x2 card which has two transmitting antennas and two receiving antennas to be able to get more speed.  Machine is still new, you can't open it now (warranty). You may ask an Authorized Service Provider parts who can do this for you.

Regards.

While the laptot shows 433mbps, once I got only 4mbps down from the Internet while Nexus 5X got 30mbps down. I don't mind if the laptop will work on 433mbps.
