Just got this computer a week ago. Was working great. Today when I turned it on all references to anything to do with wifi are gone. Nothing in device manager, nothing in troubleshooting-other than telling me the Ethernet connection isn’t connected. Which there is NO place to even connect an Ethernet cable. I have been uninstalling windows updates. That doesn’t seem to be helping. Network connections only show Bluetooth, Ethernet and LAN options. Airplane mode is not on. Can’t run a proper troubleshoot because… not connected to the internet. Device manager, network adapters doesn’t even have wifi options. Network connections doesn’t either.

Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, to provide an accurate resolution, I need a few more details:

  • Are you seeing Yellow Exclamation mark on WiFi icon?

To resolve this issue, download and install the appropriate SoftPaq to update the BIOS: SP112523 File Download once it's done. Restart the system to complete the installation.
