i just bought an hp laptop in june 2022 but it says the warranty began in oct 2021 and expires in nov 2022 . How this can be???

Hi:

 

HP starts the warranty clock ticking the minute the PC leaves the assembly plant.

 

So, the more time that has elapsed between that date, and the date you bought the PC, the less time remains on the warranty.

 

You have two options to get the warranty start and end dates adjusted.

 

1.  Submit an online warranty dispute.

2. Contact HP customer services and ask a customer services rep to assist you in getting the warranty start and end dates adjusted.
