SPECTRE 360 13"
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Spectre x360 Convertible 13-ap0xxx

pairs and connects Sony bluetooth headphones and immediately looses connection, though Settings reads it as connected. It reads Connected voice, music. Then the 'music' falls away with the connection (and 'Connected voice' remains, though it isn't connected).

I read that it cannot be paired simultaneously with...any number of culprits. But how to fix? Makes this machine worthless without it.

Welcome to HP support community.

Check for a Bluetooth driver update

  1.
  2. Open Device Manager, and then click the arrow next to Bluetooth to view the currently installed devices.

Example of non-wireless products interfering with wireless performance

  3. Right-click your Bluetooth device, and then select Update driver.

  4. On the Update Drivers screen, click Search automatically for updated driver software.

Uninstall the Bluetooth device, and then pair it

  1. Open Device Manager, and then click the arrow next to Bluetooth to view the currently installed devices.

Example of non-wireless products interfering with wireless performance
  2. In Device Manager, right-click the device you are trying to pair, and then click Uninstall device.
