Hi:
The Mediatek wifi/bluetooth adapter is not compatible with the newer versions of W10.
There is no fix for the problem other than to either replace the internal wifi adapter or purchase a USB bluetooth adapter.
If your notebook has two antenna wires connected to the Mediatek wifi/bluetooth adapter, you can upgrade to this dual band AC wifi/bluetooth adapter.
Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC 7260 802.11 ac 2x2 WiFi + BT 4.0 HP Part # 710661-001
You should be able to find this model on eBay. Search by the HP part number, not the model of the wifi adapter.
Here is the link to the service manual. The wifi adapter removal and replacement procedure can be found in this guide.

If there is only one antenna wire connected to the Mediatek wifi adapter, let me know and I will give you an alternative single band wifi/bluetooth adapter that will work with one antenna wire.
