Hello, I'd like to know if my Sleekbook HP Pavilion 15-b114el - SN [edited] does have BlueTooth inside, or just in case I'd need to purchase an external usb adapter.
Thank you,
Mario

You're very welcome, Mario.
Unfortunately, that model wifi card is not a combination wifi/bluetooth adapter, so you will either have to puchase an external USB bluetooth adapter or replace the wifi card with one listed in the service manual for your notebook that is a combination wifi/bluetooth adapter.

Now, if your notebook has an Intel processor and chipset, you can upgrade to this AC wifi/bluetooth adapter--even though it is not listed in the service manual.
Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC 7260 802.11 ac 2x2 WiFi + BT 4.0 HP Part #710661-001
The card is readily available on Amazon or eBay.
Do your search by the HP part number, not the model of the wifi card.

Hi, Mario:
What model wifi adapter does your notebook have?
The model wifi adapter determines if your notebook has bluetooth or not.
If you don't know, go to the device manager, click to expand the Network Adapters device manager category, and there you will find the name and model number of the wireless network adapter.

Than you very much Paul.
Still not sure if my skills are smart enough to open the oysters of this laptop by myself. 🙂
Need to be prudent... HP qualified technician support here in Italy could be really expensive so a cheaper option could be to purchase a good external usb adapter.
My need is to transfer audio signal from a floor to another of my house. I guess it would be stronger enough to overcome some wall barriers.
Could you kindly suggest one?
Thank you,
Mario

Anytime, Mario.
I do not have much knowledge regarding bluetooth.
Normally you only use bluetooth in close proximity to the device it is connected to, so I don't know how good the range would be on any of them.
For what it is worth, I use this model on my HP deskop PC I have in the basement of my house, and I just turned on bluetooth in my cell phone to check the range of this model for you.
Tested range by sending a photo file.
From the 1st and 2nd floors of my house, no connection.
The max range before the PC would connect to the phone, and transfer the file was about 30 feet (9 meters).

Hi Paul,
your kindest support has been extremely useful.
It seems BT is not the wireless tech able to solve my need as I'd need a coverage of 15 meters at least in order to get a stable connection.
I'm warmly grateful to you.
Thank you Paul,
Mario
