Bluetooth functionality failing

Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

The Bluetooth functionality on my beloved- yes, aging- Elitebook 2570p is failing.  Worked fine for years, but now can see only some functioning Bluetooth partners.  The one it can see Pairs but does not Connect.  Problem is definitely traced to the laptop.  I've removed the Bluetooth device and reinstalled it.  Is there an internal Bluetooth antenna that can fail?
