Thought this had Bluetooth....go to settings and find Bluetooth but there is no toggle under to turn on as suggested.....can I get/ use Bluetooth for this laptop?

Hi:

 

That model did not come with built in bluetooth networking hardware.

 

The parts list indicates that it comes with a Realtek RTL8188EE 802.11bg/n 1x1 WiFi adapter, which is wifi only without bluetooth.

You have two options...

 

Purchase an external USB Bluetooth adapter.  I use this one in a couple of my HP desktop PC's.

Replace the internal Realtek RTL8188EE wifi card with the Realtek RTL8723BE wifi/bluetooth adapter.

 

Realtek RTL8723BE 802.11bgn 1×1 + BT 4 LE Combo Adapter    HP part # 753077-001.

 

You should be able to find this model card on eBay.  Search by the HP part number, not the model of the wifi card.


Below is the link to the service manual, where you can find the wifi card removal and replacement procedure.

You can use this Bluetooth driver for that model wifi card.
