I just bought a new laptop that was advertised as having a 1G internal ethernet NIC card. Turns out, it only has a 100Mb card as per page 3 of the product manual. Does anyone know if i have enough room in this model to put a new ethernet card in and disable the on one the motherboard?
Thanks in advance for the help.
Marge

Hi,
I can only find the following specs (no information for wired LAN)
https://support.hp.com/rs-en/document/c05381504
No, it does not have room for another card. Many new machines now don't have wired LAN at all. My suggestion

It is a good product and you can have 2 more USB ports.
Regards.
