MY printer info indicates dual band WIFI yet my printer only seems to work on 2.4 Ghz.

Will printer work on 5Ghz wifi, and if so how?

I supports 2.4GHz only. You have to allow your router to broadcast dual (both) bands and connect your printer to 2.4GHz SSID. You can share all devices to this printer.
