I want to upgrade my networkcard to manage 300 mbps and have looked everywhere but can not find any. It is to be placed into HP Pavilion Notebook ab064no

Hi:

 

I have already given you that information yesterday...the RTL8821CE has a maximum throughput of 433 MBPS on the 5.0 GHz wifi band with an AC router.

So you mean that RTL8821CE 802.11AC is compatible with HP Pavilion Notebook 15-ab064no and it is for me just to put it in place?

As I explained yesterday, if your notebook does not have a BIOS whitelist, the 8821CE will work just fine.

 

If it does have a BIOS whitelist, then no other cards but the two listed in your notebook's service manual will work.

 

I don't know if your notebook's model series has a whitelist or not.

 

So, you will have to take a gamble on it or not change the current wifi card.
