Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello community, I have bought a new HP enxyx360 convertible m-15 cp0xxx. I was very excited about it. But now I am so pissed. My laptop can not connect to WiFi beyond 1 meter from any WiFi source. I have realtek RTL8822BE 802.11ac PCIe Adapter with version: 2024.0.8.108. I have tried installing several driver updates mentioned in this community, reinstalling the driver, installing several softpaqs, and even reverted back from windows 11 to windows 10 because I was told that usually my CPU(AMD Ryzen 5 2500U) doesn't support windows 11 and that would cause problems with different drivers. But all of that nothing has ever worked. And even if I am in the 1 meter range of a WiFi source the network is not stable and the speed is very low compared to what other laptops here receive(mine is at 5 Mbps while others are at 45 Mbps). And I haven't even mentioned how the screen is very dim and how its fan is very loud. I have been very disappointed by this laptop. But even anyone can understand my problem and has a suggestion, it would be a big help.

Thank you everyone

Hi:

Since I don't know what other drivers you tried these are the latest W10/W11 Wi-Fi and Bluetooth drivers HP has for that model Wi-Fi card.

They are much newer than 2024.0.8.108.

Realtek RTL8xxx Wireless LAN Drivers

Version 2024.10.230.1

Thank you for the response. It must have helped because now atleast it can detect nearby Wi-Fi networks but I can't connect becuase it can not show me their SSIDs even though it shows me that there are available networks. I think this might be becuase of a certain DNS problem. How can I fix it? I also faced another issue with the convertible settings. When I make my laptop a tablet it doesnt deactivate the physical keyboard automatically and doesnt even rotate as usual. This has happened since I reinstalled my Windows 11 24h2. How can I fix this one too?

Thank you very much.

You're very welcome.

Just because there are available networks showing up doesn't necessary mean you can connect to the.

They might be secured networks.

If there is a lock icon on the lower right side of the Wi-Fi signal icon on the network you want to connect to, that means it is secured with a security code you need to enter in order to connect.

If the network is not secured, unfortunately, I wouldn't know why you can't connect to it or what to do about it.

I wouldn't be able to help you with the notebook not going into tablet mode correctly either and I recommend that you start a new discussion on that problem.
