My network adapter is the standard "Realtek rtl8821ce 802.11ac pcie."

I randomly lost my connection to the internet after a system update and have not been able to regain it through the built-in network adapter. I've done just about every fix I've found on the internet, including updating the driver (several times and in different ways), resetting the network, deleting the network and restarting the system, typing in several command prompts, changing settings in Advanced menu, etc. I'm now using a USB network adapter, and it connects to the internet just fine.

I also did the Operating System diagnostic test, and it found no errors.

Do I just need to order new hardware? Thanks in advance.
