Change current WLAN card to 5ghz

Hello,

I know there are already a lot of questions to this topic, but it seems it always has to be a relative specific Wi-Fi Adapter to work with the different HP devices. So I will ask this for exactly my HP Notebook 15-ay103ng.

Currently there is the default Realtek RTL8723BE 802.11 bgn Wi-Fi Adapter installed, but I want to switch it with a 5ghz capable Wi-Wi Adapter.

Does anyone know which Adapters will work with my device?

Since your notebook only has one antenna cable, there is only one dual band wifi card you can do a direct upgrade to without having to take the whole notebook apart including the display panel area to run a second antenna...

The card has the same throughput as the RTL8723BE card on the 2.4 GHz wifi band, but on the 5.0 GHz wifi band with an AC router, it has a maximum throughput of 433 MBPS.
