I would like to change my current wifi adapter 802.11b/g/n to the one that supports 5ghZ
Is it possible and any recommendation?

Hi:

Your model only has one antenna cable connected to the wifi card in there now.

There is only one dual band wifi/Bluetooth card that works with only one antenna cable, and that is this one.

I can't guarantee it will work in your model or not since some models have BIOS whitelists and I can't say if yours has one or not, so you would have to try it and see...

The card has been on back order for months now on the HP parts store, but you can find them on eBay...

If you can live without Bluetooth, you can use one of the two Intel cards listed in your notebook's service manual, chapter 3.

Search by the HP part number, not the model of the wifi card.

You would connect the single antenna to the Intel wifi card's Main or #1 terminal.
