@cstocker

Thank you for posting on HP Forums,

Riddle_Decipher, is at your service (Like a Genie, however, without magic powers) 😉

As I understand the chrome book isn't connecting to the internet,

Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, however, to provide an accurate resolution, I need a few more details:

  • If it doesn't go to the password screen, where does it go instead? Do you get any error messages?
    • Is there anyway you could share a screenshot of what happens after you turn on wifi, it would be great, use this link to know, how to attach images on forums: https://hp.care/2LtWbPL
  • Have you made any recent hardware or software changes to the computer or the router?

While you respond to that, here's what you need to do:

(Normally, this is how its supposed to work)

Step 1: Turn on Wi-Fi

  1. Turn on your Chromebook.
  2. Click your account photo.
  3. Click No network No network.
Note: If you see "Connected to" and your Wi-Fi network name, your Chromebook is already connected to Wi-Fi.
  4. To turn on Wi-Fi, click the switch.
  5. Your Chromebook will automatically look for available networks and show them to you in a list.

Step 2: Pick a network and connect

(Connect to a secure network)

  1. Click the secure Wi-Fi network Wi-Fi secure network.
  2. Type the network password.
  3. Click Connect.

(By the end of this article all the issues should be resolved)

If the above isn't working for you and you have trouble attaching the image, try the steps on this link: https://hp.care/2JphIIF

Keep me posted,

For I (Or a trusted colleague) shall follow-up on this case to ensure the concern has been addressed,

And your device is up and running again,

that said, If the information I've provided was helpful,

give us some reinforcement by clicking the solution and kudos buttons,

that'll help us and others see that we've got the answers!

Good Luck.
