Hello. I was trying to install wi-fi adapter intel 9260 to my laptop HP pavilion 15 ck-017ur, but it doesn't works. Which of adapters, supporting 802.11ac can i install to my laptop? And should i have another antenna for 5GHz? Bios: Insyde F.01 10.08.2018

Hi:

 

There is only one model AC wifi adapter that will work with one antenna cable, and that is this one...

 

Realtek RTL8821CE 802.11 ac 1x1 WiFi + Bluetooth 4.2 Combo Adapter (MU-MIMO supported) HP Part # L17365-005.

That card has the same throughput as the RTL8723 on the 2.4 GHz wifi band, and 433 MBPS on the 5.0 GHz wifi band with an AC router...150 MBPS with a dual band N router.

 

Unfortunately, that card has been on back order for months at the HP Parts Store, but you can find several of them listed for sale on eBay.
