I've had several problems with this laptop since I got it. The biggest issue is that even though I can connect to and use more than one wifi network, it still thinks there is no internet. Because of this I'm not able to download an update of windows to fix the sound issue I'm having (there is no sound because windows audio service isn't working). When I try to update windows, it says updates are available but it won't download it.

 

I looked at all the drivers and they appear to be up to date. I tried a system recovery and that couldn't complete. I tried to reset the computer and that didn't complete either.

If you search and sort you can download and apply updates.

 

You must make Recovery Media, because a failure to complete a system recovery suggests to me that you have a possible HD problem, or some corrupted software.

If in doubt please ask.
