Bought a new hp laptop 17z-cp300 in November 2023. We've been having difficulties staying connected to the internet. The 5g comes and goes as an option. We have a Realtek Wi-Fi 6 (1x1) and Bluetooth 5.3 wireless card. Is this one of the cards that is single band? If so, is there a way to change this? Can we download a driver, etc?

That model Wi-Fi adapter is dual band.

Here is the link to the latest driver for it:

Thank you. Unfortunately, that didn't help with the connection. We don't have this issue with any of our other devices. The iPad pulls 300+ on speedtest.net, my laptop pulls 94+, but my husbands hp pulls between 14 and 30. I don't understand why. His computer was purchased less than a year ago.

You're very welcome.

Unfortunately, I don't have any other suggestions for you to try.
