Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My computer was able to connect to the WiFi literally minutes ago but I put it in sleep mode, turned it back on, and now it cannot connect. The troubleshooting issues that popped up said that “problem with wireless adapter or access point, network authentication failed, a network cable is not properly plugged in or maybe broken” . I don’t know what caused it or what to do

@LiamBikamba

Please try: do not put wifi adapter on your computer off during sleep

(a) Open Device Manager,

(b) Locate Network adapters, Wifi adapter

(c) Right click and select Properties

(d) Go to Power Management and remove tick as shown

(e) Click Apply/Ok

Note: I keep tick on my machine.

This made no difference, I still cannot connect to the internet. I have also tried resetting my adapaters AND using an Ethernet but neither made a difference. The computer did not recognize the Ethernet. It is something wrong with the laptop itself I don’t know what happened or how to fix it.

My computer is doing the same exact thing it worked fine yesterday and now nothing I do is allowing me to connect. The resources are trash and I work from home
