I am sick to death of this dam computer. Ive owned and operated a software company albeit retired 10 years ago however i do know my way around computers. This dam thing cost me $1800 and operated perfectly until about 4 months ago when it started to randomly disconnect from the wireless internet. We have 2 other computers, phones, a home theater, wireless printer and ALL are operating perfectly ok. Ive everything incluing reloading the drivers fo the wireless card in this thing about 5 times, done the usual turn off the option to allow the computer to shut down the card to save power etc etc etc all to absolutely no avail. I am fed up. I cant get any work done at all which is costing me a lot. Does anyone have any further ideas. And HP if you see this what are you goin g to do?????? My advice to anyone is DONT buy oner of these. Ive seen others having the very same problem. Oh Guess what the warranty has run out......

Hi:

What model wifi adapter does your notebook have?

If you don't know, go to the device manager, click to expand the Network Adapters device manager category, and there you will find the name and model number of the wireless network adapter.
