HP Pavilion 15t-cs200 CTO
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Upon turning on the PC for the first time, there was no Wi-FI seen and thus no internet without using the Ethernet port (Hard wired).   The failure states that the Intel Wireless-AC 9461 adapter is experiencing driver (or hardware) related problems.     Installing all windows updates and all driver updates, disabling and reenabling and then removing the device and discovering it again did not fix the issue.   I called HP support and they did the same steps with same negative results.   We ran the HW diagnostics on the WiFi Module component and it passed.   Then we reset the OS which still did not fix the issue.   Then we created a recovery Flash Drive and recovered the Win 10 OS.   This still did not fix the issue.

Has anyone else had this problem?

Hi

I assume you are awaiting a replacement PC.

AND you and HP are certain about the adapter?

SKU: please.                 because....

Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC 3168 802.11 ac 1x1 WiFi + Bluetooth 4.2 combination WLAN module

Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC 7265NV 802.11ac 2x2 WiFi + Bluetooth 4.0 combination WLAN adapter (Most of World)

There are a whole range of possibilities.
