You're very welcome.

If you're up to replacing the internal wifi card, you can upgrade it to this model...

Realtek RTL8821CE 802.11 ac 1x1 WiFi + Bluetooth 4.2 Combo Adapter (MU-MIMO supported) HP part # L17365-005.

You can find this model on eBay.

The card has the same throughput as the RTL8723DE card on the 2.4 GHz wifi band, but on the 5.0 GHz wifi band with an AC router, it has a maximum throughput of 433 MBPS.

Below is the link to the service video gallery for your notebook's model series which has videos on how to open up the PC and replace the wifi card.

Hi:

Below is the link to the HP product specs for your notebook.

https://www8.hp.com/py/es/laptops/product-details/product-specifications/31128293

It comes with a Realtek RTL8723DE 802.11b/g/n wifi adapter, which does not work on the 5.0 GHz wifi band.

Thanks for the reply and info.  My internet speed is 300 mbps.  Do you know if it is useless to have that much if I don't have 5.0 Ghz capabilities?
