My HP DV6110TX laptop not able to identify  5 Ghz

Jio fibre source.It is able to identify 2.4 Ghz and connect. Does this laptop or network adapter support 5 GHz?

Hi:

 

Your notebook's Broadcom 4313 802.11b/g/n 1x1 WiFi adapter is a single band adapter only.

 

It does not work on the 2.4 GHz wifi band.

 

You cannot upgrade the internal wifi card in that model series to dual band, since it has a BIOS whitelist which prevents the installation of any other wifi card but the one your notebook came with from working.

 

If you want dual band, you will need to purchase an external USB dual band wifi adapter.
