HOW DO I ACTIVATE MY SIM CARD ON THE SIM SLOT PROVIDED ON THE LAPTOP.

Hi:

 

Does your notebook come with the expensive and optional WWAN adapter that the SIM card uses to connect to a cellular network?

 

90% of notebooks that have a SIM card slot don't have that optional WWAN card.

 

To see if your notebook has the optional mobile broadband WWAN adapter, go to the device manager, click to expand the Network Adapters device manager category, and there you will find an ethernet adapter, and a wifi adapter listed.

 

If the notebook has a WWAN adapter, that is where it will be listed.

 

If you only see the two devices, then your notebook doesn't have the required hardware for the SIM card to work.
