This wasn't an issue form when I got the laptop in October/November 2023.
Every few minutes my laptop's WiFi connection will experience packet loss.
5Ghz access points will occasionally become invisible.
I've been thinking if the issue could be in the hardware of the laptop - e.g. the antenna or the wireless NIC.
I have dropped the laptop once and it created a small dent in the middle of the back of laptop - the screen hinge, but it looks like just dented aluminum - I can't imagine that affecting the antenna inside the screen given how small the dent is.
It's definitely only the laptop that experiences it and it isn't due to the router and other networking equipment - I've tried with different bands (2.5 and 5Ghz), different SSIDs, different routers, different devices connecting to the same network (phone, pc, ..) , etc.
