I have been using this HP Spectre x360 for more than a year and it is working very well. I have been connected to the internet via LAN/Ethernet using multiport type C connector. 

Today, while working suddenly LAN was not connected. For troubleshooting, I disabled the LAN adapter. After some time the adaptor hung/frooze so I restarted the system. On restart, the adapter was missing. 

Surprisingly I didn't find an ethernet adapter driver on the HP website for my system. Can you help me locate right driver for the laptop.

(3) Reboot and test again your LAN connection

The driver worked fine.  Now I am able to connect via LAN. The driver should also be listed on the HP drivers page for the laptop model.
