Ethernet from Docking Station to Spectre x360 not working

I am having the same issue referenced in this thread. 

I have recently purchased an x460 and having issues when connecting Ethernet via docking station


I purchased a  VAVA -- VA-UC006 ---USB C Hub 9-in-1 Adapter with PD Power Delivery, 4K USB C to HDMI, USB 3.0 Ports, 1Gbps Ethernet Port, SD/TF Cards Reader DOCKING STATION. The Ethernet connection when docked is unreliable. I have tested the ethernet via docking station on other devices and its ok.

Meanwhile, I must let you know that most docking stations are only compatible with the commercial product lines and not the consumer line of products, hence I'd request you to share the model name of the docking station in your possession so I could check the details and compatibility for the same.
